The saying goes, that a Diamond is a girls best friend. This may be the case, but I am afraid that this means that there are going to be a lot of women out there who are very lonely! The bottom line is that diamonds are extremely expensive, and there are a lot of men out there who couldn’t even consider trying to afford a diamond for their girlfriend, no matter what the size or clarity.

Fear not though. As much as women do love diamonds, there are plenty of things that you can get your loved ones which are as guaranteed to put a smile on their faces.

The first gift that always seems to go down well, for what seems like every woman I have come across, is a hand bag. Us men are unusual if we have more than one bag to our name, but women are the polar opposite. Most women have probably amassed a collection of at least twenty hand bags by the time they are forty, but don’t let that out you off. It would appear that no number of bags can ever be enough, and as long as you understand your partners taste, she is sure to be delighted!

The next guaranteed gift is shoes. Exactly the same rules apply as with hand bags, and I think that most women out there secretly wish that they had just as many shoes as Imelda Marcos!

The last gift we have to mention is flowers. All women love flowers, no matter what the occasion. A nice bunch of roses is sure to win her over, no matter what her tastes.
